To be the first city in Canada to achieve full employment or a guaranteed income. The private sector and general public must be made aware of the financial benefits which can be achieved through the ‘year of hope’ program initiatives, to assist individuals achieve stability.

The ‘year of hope’ platform will provide political candidates the tools and opportunity to embrace a message of hope. With these tools they can affect concrete change, Everyone will be included in economic activities which will ensure meaningful change.

Financial Benefits for Individuals

- Lower unemployment

- Lower crime

- Affordable accommodation

- Fair tuition fees

- New business opportunities

Each individual assisted will save the public and private sectors between $100,000

and $200,000 (see our statistics on our website)

The following employment opportunity development will ensure

- The elimination of shortages of child care workers

- The elimination of shortages of qualified workers for the elderly

- The elimination of local sources of pollution through improved community recycling

- Ongoing development of ‘transition ‘ employment for individuals who are

currently between careers.

One hundred percent of the ‘year of hope’ campaign contributions will be directed for the benefit of the community with value-added projects. Future elections will provide for first-time opportunities for every individual to share in the development of meaningful endeavours.

Year of Hope Campaign Half and half Concept

- Half and half tickets -donated- sold

with tax exemption given with every dollar spent.

- 50% of all funds collected for half and half program

to be given out as prizes.

- 50% of funds collected to be used for employment

purposes including paying ticket canvassers.

- Ticket canvassers will collect funds and give out tax

exemption receipts door to door.

- This part of our meaningful work program will be

operated and marketed by disabled - disadvantaged -

students and seniors.

- Tickets canvassers will be paid on a full time or part

time basis at a starting rate of 12.50/hour up to

$23,000 dollars per year.

- Hiring will be based on needs with special attention

given to disabled - disadvantaged - students and

seniors.
